We believe that it is critical to the infant's physical and emotional development to take time to grow. At Blue Sky, plenty of time is given to babies to be on the floor with a caregiver nearby to learn, move, and stretch to build self-confidence and physical control.
The preschool program is the final stage of childcare at Blue Sky Daycare. Our preschool program develops skills through daily experiences which foster children's interests and inquiry. Children become active learners in their space and environment.
Our curriculum focuses on five key areas that support whole-child development
Music helps children connect the world of movement and sound with feelings and observations. Through live music and real instruments, we promote language development, fine motor skills, and coordination.
Our carefully-selected books include picture books, educational books, and captivating stories. Reading is part of our daily routine, sparking imagination and creativity in every child.
Science encourages children to explore cause and effect — experimenting with magnets, water, and more. Children learn to sort, count, measure, and communicate their discoveries.
Outdoor play happens every day, rain or shine! Our covered and fenced play areas offer ball games, sandbox activities, dramatic play, and gross motor development.
Art develops fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through painting, cutting, and coloring. We build self-esteem by proudly displaying each child's creative work.
